I’m SO Disappointed: MAHA & RFK Are Going WRONG

Please care about your well-being. Do it for those who love you.

Dr. Dhand says, “Hundreds of millions across the western world, young people are going to face an absolute metabolic catastrophe in the next ten to 20 years; pre-diabetes, type-2 diabetes, heart disease, other inflammation. These are at levels unprecedented.”

He reminds us that every ancient civilization (think Greek, Roman, ancient Egyptians) valued strength and health. Look at their statues, their paintings. They knew it was important to be in the best shape as possible.

There is a deep cultural reason that we do not care about such ideals any longer. It takes years to get to the level of obesity we are seeing in 30-something year olds. You cannot consume 4,000 calories a day and not expect these unhealthy consequences.

We need more than simply banning food dyes. We need a complete cultural change!

Delightful comment from 96 year old reader w/ good advice for us young-ones;

I am 95, soon to be 96. I agree with everything you say, dear young man. I eat as much plant based food as l can & exercise twice daily. I honesty believe that’s why l am still here. I do sin on occasion. Yesterday l had pizza at our local senior center, but today I am back on track. I try sometimes to mention things to others about eating good food. It’s an uphill battle. So many people who are surprised at my age ask what is my secret (haha).

* First, I say, it is what you put in your mouth. Very important.

* Next, I say, if you don’t use it you lose it. MOVE, exercise!

Simple, cheap, non toxic and ignored

Expert opinion
Considering the increase in the number of anecdotal reports of activity, there will likely be a bigger drive toward using LDN in the oncological setting. These reports support clinical trials of LDN in cancer, especially when given in combination with certain chemotherapy.

Tuscanini Organic Cola

Tuscanini Cola is a brand of sparkling organic cola made in Italy with natural flavors and organic cane sugar. It’s known for being a refreshing and clean-label beverage, free of artificial colors and preservatives. It contains no phosophoric acid! The cola comes in a 9.3 fl oz bottle and is certified organic and kosher.

When I use it I just combine a glass of iced unsweetened sparkling water w/ one shot (1 oz) of this cola. It dramatically reduces sugar content, etc. And the lid screws right back on to preserve freshness!

Price seems steep, but not when you mix it w/ plain sparkling water.

TUSCANINI COLA INGREDIENTS:

carbonated water

organic cane sugar

organic caramel color

natural flavors

citric acid

Myocarditis after SARS-CoV-2 infection and COVID-19 vaccination

June 21, 2025

A new evidence-based review challenges common public health claims about myocarditis related to COVID-19 infection versus mRNA vaccines.

The authors examined clinical trials, observational studies, and post-marketing data and concluded that mRNA COVID-19 vaccines are more strongly associated with myocarditis than the virus itself—particularly among males under 40. Contrary to earlier reassurances, the paper argues that vaccine-related myocarditis is not always mild or short-lived and may have lasting effects.

Given these findings, the authors call for the removal of mRNA COVID-19 vaccines from the market, citing a risk-benefit profile that no longer supports their use in the general population.

Water-Based Cooking Provides Better Health Outcomes

It is not just what you eat, but also how you prepare your food that matters, as water-based cooking results in lower AGE formation and better health outcomes.

This randomized crossover trial showed that cooking methods significantly affect markers of cardiometabolic health—even when ingredients are identical.

Low-AGE-generating methods like boiling and steaming reduced serum advanced glycation end products (AGEs), improved lipid profiles, and increased beneficial serum protein 4E-BP1. In contrast, high-AGE methods like grilling and baking raised fecal butyrate levels. These findings suggest that how food is cooked—not just what is cooked—plays a key role in cardiovascular risk. The study advocates for including cooking methods in dietary guidelines and preventive strategies for heart and metabolic diseases.

Nutrition Highlights

High in fiber (6–7 g/serving): Great for satiety and digestion.

Solid protein (~10 g/serving): Especially for a plant-based patty.

Low fat: Mostly from oats and beans.

Moderate carbs: Balanced by fiber and protein.

Sodium caution: Seasoning and BBQ sauce may add significant sodium—consider low‑sodium options.

Tips to Adjust

Boost protein: Add 2 Tbsp nutritional yeast (~4 g protein), or ¼ cup chickpea flour.

Lower carbs: Reduce oats to ¾ cup (~60 g carbs); maintains structure but cuts ~12 g carbs total.

Cut sodium: Use low‑sodium soy sauce and BBQ sauce; rinse beans well.
