Pro Athlete Kyrie Irving: Vaccine mandates one of the ‘greatest human rights violations in history’

Sept 21, 2022

About an hour and a half after New York mayor Eric Adams told reporters he’s ending the private employer vaccine mandate but keeping it for city workers, the most prominent critic of his and his predecessor’s policies dropped a tweet defended others who are denied the same accommodations as his.

“If I can work and be unvaccinated, then all of my brothers and sisters who are also unvaccinated should be able to do the same, without being discriminated against, vilified, or fired. This enforced Vaccine/Pandemic is one the biggest violations of HUMAN RIGHTS in history.”

He missed 53 games because of the vaccine mandates which in turn led to difficult contract negotiations for him and Kevin Durant’s trade negotiations.
