Article in The Lancet: Child and Adolescent Health Suggests the Latter
Another typically frustrating article about COVID-19 science was published last week; September 21st to be exact. It appeared in the journal called The Lancet Child and Adolescent Health, which is a sister journal to The Lancet. This journal has such a high impact factor that it claims to be “the world-leading paediatrics journal”. These days, however, I cringe whenever I hear that something that has been published in journals like the The Lancet, the New England Journal of Medicine, and many of their sister journals. These previously prestigious journals have become purveyors of poor-quality COVID-19 science, which sometimes dips into the realms of misinformation and even disinformation.

Dr. Aseem Malhotra received the Pfizer primary series in January 2021. He became a promoter of the vaccine, even appearing on “Good Morning Britain” to advise Indian film director Gurinder Chadha to get the shot. Chadha did so shortly after.
Malhotra said he began digging into vaccine data after his father, Dr. Kailash Chand, suffered a cardiac arrest at home approximately six months after receiving Pfizer’s vaccine.
The post-mortem showed two of Chand’s major arteries were severely blocked, even though Malhotra described his father as a fit person who did not have any significant heart problems.

On september 22 of last year, Michel Goldman, a Belgian immunologist and one of Europe’s best-known champions of medical research, walked into a clinic near his house, rolled up his sleeve, and had a booster shot delivered to his arm. He knew he’d need it more than most.
Just a few weeks earlier, Michel, 67, had been to see his younger brother, Serge, the head of nuclear medicine at the hospital of the Université Libre de Bruxelles, where both men are professors. Michel was having night sweats, and he could feel swollen lymph nodes in his neck, so his brother brought him in for a full-body CT scan. When the images came through to Serge’s computer they revealed a smattering of inky spots, bunched near Michel’s left armpit and running up along his neck. It was cancer of the immune system—lymphoma.
