Inhaled Steroid for Early COVID-19 Passes Another Test | MedPage Today

Joint chief investigator Richard Hobbs, FMedSci, also at Oxford, declared in the press release that the study demonstrates “budesonide is effective as a treatment at home and during the early stages of the illness.”

Are you surprised?  Ofcourse not.

Additionally, it was observed early in the pandemic that, against expectations, people with asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease seemed to be at lower risk for severe COVID, which led “to speculation that inhaled corticosteroids used to treat these conditions may be protective,”

We read about budesonide long ago here, back in July 2020. But few embraced it back then & youtube saw fit to remove the video interview with courageous Texas Dr. Richard Bartlett. We were told to sit tight, wait for more research, die waiting in some cases.

Our hope is that in documenting this fiasco future generations will learn from our  ignorance.
