Building Vegan Muscle w/ Robert Cheeke in Vegas


Here’s some of his advice:

BREAKFAST IDEAS:

* cubed Yucan gold potatoes made in pressure cooker night before and heated up

* Some days oatmeal with fruits and nuts

* Other days have fruit bowl with lots of berries like blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, and I’ll add bananas, something oranges, and apples.

PRE-WORKOUT IDEAS:

* eat bananas

* stay away from pre-workout supplements

* don’t consume any caffeine, ever 

* eat two to three bananas

* drink water

POST-WORKOUT IDEAS:

* burrito bowl with beans (like lentils),  rice, broccoli

* buddha bowl with yams, quinoa, lentils, vegetables, avocado, add peanut sauce

* good mix of carbohydrates, proteins, fats, and leafy greens in their whole form

WEIGHT WORKOUT:

* Train 1-2 muscle groups per workout. Either

* chest and back, or

*arms and shoulders, or 

* legs and abs.

* Do  8 – 12 reps per set

* 4 sets per exercise 

* that’s normally 5 or 6 different exercises

* Finished in 1 hour 15 mins
