John McDougall, MD Interviews Peter C. Gøtzsche – Dr. McDougall

Nov 30, 2022

Dr. McDougall talks with Peter C. Gøtzsche, Professor, DrMedSci, MD, MSc Copenhagen, about the efficacy of mammograms. Dr. Gøtzsche published a paper based on his own research, and the research of others, that show mammography screening should be abandoned because it doesn’t detect early-stage cancer. By the time mammograms detect cancer it has already been growing for a number of years. When looking at randomized trials, mammograms didn’t change mortality rates. Additionally, the risk of getting a false positive result from a mammogram is about 50% in the United States due to the aggressive cancer screening practices of the medical industry which causes great psychological harm.

How Glyphosate Weedkillers Increase Risk of Breast Cancer

Dec 1, 2022

[…]

EPA should evaluate and ban endocrine-disrupting pesticides and make organic food production and land management the standard that legally establishes toxic pesticide use as “unreasonable.”

Moreover, proper prevention practices, like buyinggrowing and supporting organics, can eliminate exposure to toxic pesticides.

Organic agriculture has many health and environmental benefits that curtail the need for chemical-intensive agricultural practices.

Regenerative organic agriculture nurtures soil health through organic carbon sequestration while preventing pests and generating a higher return than chemical-intensive agriculture.

For more information on how organic is the right choice, see the Beyond Pesticides webpage, Health Benefits of Organic Agriculture.
