Truckers, approximately 80% Canadian and 20% American, have converged in Ottawa with the big rigs like a mega-gathering of transformers to effectively shut down the city and start a dialogue with provincial and national leaders aimed to drop the pandemic mandates and return to normalcy.
The truckers have been supported with food, water, and fuel to keep their engines idling for heat as their families sleep in the cabs. Scientist-physician leaders have made stage presentations and have gone up in the rigs to support the truckers, including former White House pandemic advisor Dr. Paul Alexander, leading academic pathologist Roger Hodkinson, MBBS, renown virologist Dr. Byram Bridle, and ethicist Dr. Julie Ponesse.
The event has spellbound audiences around the world, and the Canadian authorities appear to have no answers.
In this issue of the Report, we have exclusive interviews on the ground with Drs. Alexander and Hodkinson from Ottawa. Additionally, we have Dr. Christof Plothe, DO, BSc, from Mainz Germany, give his perspectives on the crisis and the Ottawa situation from his vantage point in Germany. Finally, we had a wonderful rendition of music submitted by the original artist herself, Katie Hibben– “The Innocent Ones.” This song raises awareness on two groups, our seniors and our children, in many ways are the innocent victims of the pandemic and its mandated emergency measures.
